Dear Ateneo Hearters,
A Magis day to everyone.
Despite the many challenges confronting us during this pandemic, we are blessed to finally start classes for the school year through Ateneo Hearter Online 2020-2021.
Our school has pivoted to adapt to the situation and has creatively crafted meaningful learning and formation programs. We have invested to improve the IT infrastructure of the school, trained our faculty together with the other Ateneos and Jesuit schools, and conducted test classes and orientations with both students and parents.
I profoundly thank our Administrators, Faculty and Staff for the diligence, resilience, creativity, and determination to continue our mission in providing quality Ignatian, Jesuit education using new platforms. Thank you to our Board of Trustees, PTA, Alumni and Benefactors for the unwavering support. Indeed, our greatest assets as a school are not our infrastructure nor our technology but the many gifted people who give of themselves for God’s greater glory.
As we start classes, we encourage everyone to continue to be pivoting and adapting to the times as one Ateneo Hearter Online community. Only if we proactively work together will we be able to bring the best out of the situation. We will continue to travel through uncertain times, but with faith, courage, and perseverance, we will get through this. The pioneering spirit of the Jesuit missionaries lives on in our Ateneo Hearter community as we journey through the 65th year since the founding of our school.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us all.
Fr. Manny A. Uy, S.J.
