“It was in the Philippine General Hospital, I was still working back then and I got invited to join one of their meals and I heard the laughter of the Jesuits and it just felt so real and alive, everyone was so alive, everyone was so happy, everyone was so at peace with themselves, and at that moment, I desired I also want to be like them, how happy they are, how free they are…when I was walking back home, I told myself, Lord if its your will I would want to become a Jesuit.” – Bro. James Santos, SJ
