Division Schools Press Conference

Last October 14, 2014, members of the high school SEEDS student organization (High School school publication), Filipino and English, participated in the Division Schools Press Conference held in Labogon National High School, Mandaue City, Cebu. Four of our own students won in the said competition and will proceed to the regional finals. The winners are as follows:

  • Carla Bren Legarde- 3rd Place-Feature Writing
  • Arian Lyn Jude Borja- 3rd Place-Photojournalism-Filipino
  • Jan Kirwin Chua- 1st Place-Photojournalism-English
  • Vimarie Rose Ocon- 4th Place-Copy Reading

Congratulations also to the moderators, Mrs. Edgermie G. Gingoyon for English SEEDS and Mrs. Mary Jane D. Pañares for Filipino SEEDS.

While it is important that students remain productive when online classes start, it is also crucial that the home remains a home during this period. It is ideal to have a separate study space for the students in the house. This way, a spatial boundary between work and family areas is established. This study space will be able to make students feel that they can be just as productive at home as they are in school.
