Everywhere we go we see a lot of people in a hurry. We see parents and students rushing in and out of bookstores and educational supplies stores to complete the needed requirements. We see school administrators checking and marking papers to accommodate new and old enrolees. We see teachers in haste planning and preparing all their lessons. These are just basic premises that would tell us that the opening of the new school year is fast approaching. Harry Wong once said that the very first day is the most important day of school – we either make it or break it.

Like any other school, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu also has its own story on how they’ve prepared everything for the big day – the well – designed classrooms, well – prepared lessons and activities are just a taste of what Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu has in store for the students for the whole school year. The opening of classes last June 10, 2015  (Early Education to Grade 3 classes) and  last June 11, 2015 (Grade 4 to Grade 7 classes) marked a new beginning for Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu as the community looked forward to making new and meaningful experiences. The opening of classes went on smoothly and as planned. The students were escorted by their parents and were accommodated by their teachers when they went to their respective classrooms. Everyone wore big smiles as they welcomed the new school year with a blast.

This is just yet the beginning, the journey ahead might not be easy, but as long as we work together, we make all things happen. More is yet to come as Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu looks forward to continuing its mission of forming men and women for others. Always Magis! Always Lux Oriens! Always Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
