Lao Tzu once said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Once again, we witnessed another momentous event in a pupil’s life. The Grade School Honors’ Assembly last June 30, 2015 was another successful event that recognized pupils who took that single step. These pupils were brave enough to believe that they could keep on moving forward. Every school year, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu awards deserving pupils for all their hard work.

Awards were given to honor pupils who successfully made it through last year. The privilege of going up on stage with their parents and receiving a medal is one of the primary goals of every pupil. Thus, they work really hard in their studies, participate in school activities and do their best to learn as many things as they can. The Honors’ Assembly marked another challenge to pupils this year to not only dream but also to live out their dreams and give their best to achieve it. You don’t have to make big steps to be able to do great things, sometimes; it only takes a single step and a courageous heart to keep on moving forward.
