On September 14, 2019, the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Cluster of the Senior High School Department will hold the World-Class Filipino Symposium 3.0. This year’s symposium highlights the intersection between art and business. World-renowned industrial designer, Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue, gifts us with his presence as he sheds light into his experience as a creative icon who has succeeded in the world of business.

Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue entered into the world of design in 1987 by studying Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York. This served as an opportunity for him to expand his reach worldwide. In the year 1996, he returned to his hometown, Cebu, and managed his mother’s company, Interior Crafts of the Islands, Inc.

Today, the name KENNETHCOBONPUE is synonymous with awe-inspiring designs and well crafted furniture. Mr. Cobonpue is known the world over and his clientele ranges from Hollywood A-listers to members of royalty. His success is the result of his attention to detail, determination, and hard work.

Mr. Cobonpue is best known for his modern design of functional art, which is composed of natural fibers and materials. He combines nature and traditional craft through the use of innovative technologies. His continuous drive to create and inspire has made him a multi-awarded artist. Truly, he is a world-class Filipino icon in every sense of the word.
